the Development Management associated with the rezoning and
master planning for this brownfield redevelopment site located in Clayton.
Working with the consultant team
and the client Abacus Property Group, Brix engaged with key stakeholders at both local and state government levels
to get indicative support for the submission of an amendment to rezone the site to allow redevelopment for residential and commercial use. In 2016, Abacus received an unsolicited offer to purchase the site from a third party who recognised the future potential for
the site to be developed into a residential community.
